Indeed, DX9 on DX10 will be run via an application layer which adds a massive overhead to performance as DX10 will need to emulate DX9. Agree with the general concensus here that there's no point waiting for DX10 for a while to come.

Vista will run happy with all "bells n whistles" on a DX9 card. Not had any issues with my 7800GTX and the latest beta of Vista

Unfortunately the case doesn't come with the fans, or at least mine didn't when I ordered it from here. The Ambers are nice, but benifit from being mounted on rubber washers/grommits. As for your HS, will fit fine as long as you don't use the suspended drive cage supplied with the case.
