    Ryzen 7950X3D, 7900X3D, 7800X3D

7800x3d owners, what temps do you have in idle and full load? Idle I have 39-42, and during load it depends on workload. If I run Cinebench R23, it jumps to 78-79 degrees and hovers around that while it's running. In games, it sits around 60-70 (depending on the game), but when I launch a game...

    5900X Upgrade to 7950X3D

This is the way! xD My new CPU runs well, still need to adjust to the long boot times (40-50 seconds). Good thing I don't restart my PC that often.

    5900X Upgrade to 7950X3D

My system has no coping issues for the most part, but I do, and upgrading to AM5 will keep me and my mind occupied for a while. This is my early Christmas present to myself. :)

    5900X Upgrade to 7950X3D

I went with the 7800x3d. I play in 1440p and the FPS difference is too little to warrant the extra £300. If the next AMD CPU series will be amazing, maybe I can upgrade only the CPU. I think I'll be fine for quite a while now tho.

    5900X Upgrade to 7950X3D

I'm aiming towards MSI MPG X670E Carbon. Better VRM, 6 SATA ports instead of 4, 2 5.0 M2s. A bit more expensive and future proof. I like the design/look too :)

    5900X Upgrade to 7950X3D

I have two 27" 1440p 144hz monitors. I'm going through my Steam library now, and play different games from time to time. Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate 3, Ghost Recon Wildlands, The Last of Us, Path of Exile, Apex Legends to name a few. 7800x3d is a good choice too, but I don't want to go from 12 to...

    5900X Upgrade to 7950X3D

I have that itch too lol. I have a 5900x and a 4090. A 7950X3D would be a decent upgrade. Not sure what mobo and ram to get tho.

    Best card company

Sapphire is the best for AMD cards. I really loved my Sapphire Nitro+ 5700XT. On the nVidia side, I always picked MSI. I've had 2060, 3080 and now 4090 from MSI. Never had issues and they're very cool and quiet which I appreciate. As a company, they did some shady things, but they have good cards.

Get the MSI. That's the one I have. It's running silent and cold. :)

Anyone with the MSI 4090 Trio X had any issues with the power adapter? :)

MSI vs Palit 4090 - Why the price difference...?

I don't understand that either. How can a 4090 cost £1700 and another model is £2200+? Performance difference is almost non-existent. Is this 3rd party or OCUK greed? :)

*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4090 STOCK SITUATION & OcUK YOUTUBE REVIEWS - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

My bedroom is my gaming room/office room/kitchen xD I'm curios if prices will drop when nVidia gets hit by the AMD train.

    AMD RDNA3 unveiling event

This is so good for us consumers, yet I see people saying AMD failed again, big disappointment..etc. Really? This is a very good move from them and I'm curious how will nVidia react, as their 4080 launch is not looking like a great buy now.

So Much for lack of interest ....

Working for me too, but the site fails to authenticate you and probably complete an order.

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

Yes, as usual OCUK is way more expensive than others. Also, website was fine for me, on the surface. If I want to authenticate, bam, it fails. Demand is not as high as before, and the website is still affected by this load. Pretty bad.
