If you use a TomTom or Garmin with the capability to use ITN files (itinerary planning) you could try TYRE http://www.tyre.tk/ It lets you plot a route in Google maps then save and send it to your sat nav. We use it loads for our runs out. Everyone has a copy then there is no mad panic...

Gave mine a going over again earlier this week. I have been using Britemax Extreme Elements and have topped it with Souveran Concours - note the pictures are before waxing this is just with Extreme Elements. Very impressed with this stuff and good value for money.
