I have a V1 connect. Which version do you have and have you compared it with other streamers? I've compared mine with £1000+ streamers and couldn't hear any difference. This may be down to 'old man ears'.

Do you also own a SONOS bridge? If you do, I would be interested in your opinion.

Definitely no confirmation bias, even my wife agrees. On another note I’m sending back an Arcam ST60 because I can’ t tell the difference between that and my Sonos connect. I really wanted to like that bit of kit.

So I got an Arcam ST60 on loan to try on my system. I compared it directly by switching sources using the same lossless audio file, and I couldn’t tell the difference between my Sonos connect and the ST60. I don’t know if that’s acoustics or my hearing, but I think the Arcam will be going back.

I thought I would report back. I have added an Arcam P25 power amp to my system and I must say I am happy with the difference it has made. It's difficult to describe, but the only way I can think of is to describe it as more “effortless”.

So my eye has been turned towards a new shiny, shiny poweramp (Arcam p35) to match my existing A32. My logical side thinks that this “may” provide a very small improvement, which my 50 year old ears would be unable to hear. Has anyone done anything similar to this? Thanks

My system is: FMJ A32 Integrated Amplifier KEF Reference 1 Floorstanding Speakers So the DAC is in the streamer. I didn't know about that limit in Sonos, i'm way above that.

Does anyone know if you have a Sonos soundbar you can output that source to another speaker (in the kitchen) with the film audio without making the speaker part of a surround system? Thanks
