Carpet cleaner and spot washer, recommendations.

I use the Bissell cleaner in my Bissell. Was £20 for 4,5l with free postage so seemed rude not too. Gone up slightly now, £23 for 4.5l of the one with febreze in. - https://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/products/wash-refresh-febreze-1-5l

    ***The Pond Discussion Thread****

Finally got around to starting on the area around our pond / summerhose at the weekends. Put the pond and summerhouse in a few years back, but then never actually go around to finishing it, as a toddler in the house meant everything was slow going. Actually getting around to it now shes getting...

Carpet cleaner and spot washer, recommendations.

We have a Bissell upright, with the rotating brushbar and its brilliant. It also has the hand attachment the same as an upright vacuum, and i've done the car several times with it now an it works perfectly for it. Hard to see the benifit of 2 seperate machines when one does both absolutely fine...

Chris Evans always used to bang ou about this. Take out of the clean one, use it, straight into the dirty one, then reverse. Tried to convince the Mrs when we renovated but she was having none of it!

Stamps: The most boring OCUK thread in a while

Stanley Gibbons Catalogues give valuations in, however if they arent already sorted it will take ages to go through and locate them in the catalogues. Yes there is definatley a market for old stamps, the old man spends and obscene amount on some! However unsorted stamps are worth a lot less...

    Anyone suffered a dislocation?

Did my big toe playing football. That was at 90 degrees to my foot, but popped back in without much effort at hospital. Have to say its never been back to as it was. Not as flexiable, still a bit swollen, and aches when it gets cold, and thats 15 years on. ALthough its less severe than a break I...

Steamdeck as I can never be bothered sitting at the PC in the study to game. Hardly class myself as a hardcore gamer though.

What "man jobs" have you done today?

Yeah, hopefully it bushes up nicely at the top and I can just pollard it again every 5 years or so. I would have like to maybe take it lower, but the swing seat hangs off it and I have no where else for it to go!

What "man jobs" have you done today?

Made a tree in the garden smaller with a bit of pollarding. Was getting far too tall but gives a nice bit of shade, so dont really want to lose it. Thought I'd give it a chance with this first. If it doesnt work it will completely come down. Decent bit of wood off it as a bonus.

Internal camera that I can look at through my phone with motion detection

Ah fair enough, the old man has only ever stored his in the house on the farm. Surely you get rust issues with the damp of the loft even with oiling?

Internal camera that I can look at through my phone with motion detection

No suggestions, just intrigued how someone would get in your loft without you being worried about the rest of your house?
