Did you keep your sports car after having kids?

My Exige went for an X5 :( Unfortunately the M135i is worth naff all (130k miles) so has stepped into the fun car role until I can afford a replacement

Anyone with twins/young kids who can offer some car advice?

We've got a little one due March (thankfully just the one!) and got rid of my Exige in favour of a X5 45e. Any large 4x4 will be suitable, as should a large estate - Superb, V90, A6 etc

    Your bad driving

A few relatively recent ones... Driving down the A3 and wanting to catch up to a straight piped GT3 before the Hindhead tunnel. In lane 1 and came behind a car doing 60mph or so just as the empty c400yd entry slip joined, with a car blocking my route to the outside lane I indicated left into it...

    Car Park Fine - Help

Even then a court judgement can be set aside very easily. Can then present evidence like normal and win a proper hearing very easily...

Congestion charge ! Help needed please.

Yeah get it set aside at the court - not being informed of the process is as much reason as any for this to happen - you would not have been able to defend it, especially if there was address changes at the time - changing the address shows prudence on your daughters part. If successful (I’ve...

    Cheap Motoring. New Car Advice

I’m SE London - sorry for the randomness... It’s a car that hasn’t let them down but is cosmetically marked (not too badly mind) and filthy - either move it on at nothing if easy, else send it off to meet its maker (although it’s still got some life left in it)

    Cheap Motoring. New Car Advice

If it helps family are selling a ‘54 fiesta - 1.4 zetec-MOT until October and about 85k miles but now surplus to requirements. Got a few quirks, cosmetic rubs (one bumper scuff led to a non-structural write-off a few years back) and it’s been used to cart dogs around so isn’t clean inside but...

Yep - you’ve hit a stationary car, 100% on you

    Multiple Parking Tickets

Wait for the notice to owner - most are non-compliant. I personally would just ignore it and all future correspondence tbh

    Show Us Your Motors!

So after rolling into a pothole (literal meteorite crater) in the Lotus and scraping the underside of the front clam in March the Council have now just admitted liability. Got to send them on a little extra paperwork and they are settling my costs in full, result really!

OCUK Civilised South-Eastern Spring/Summer lunch (date confirmed 21st July)

Only 21st July works for me unfortunately, happy with either structure

other than the RAC / AA, any other decent breakdown services for 2 people ?

Get mine though my bank - joint account so does both my fiancé and I Works for the Car and Motorbike, for whatever car I'm in and includes homestart too. £13pm for both of us (as well as phone/travel/etc. Insurance too) so £6.50pm each. Used them 5 times over the past 2 years (4x bike, 1x car)...

OCUK Civilised South-Eastern lunch (now with less coke can exhausts)

Potentially interested depending on date - new job now so my time for organising is really limited, please somebody else do the honours :)

Intention to prosecute for speeding (37mph in a 30 zone)

What's strangest to me is it seems to be an actual copper in a 5 series estate and not a van - thought they'd always come to actually pull you over, not send stuff via the post after

What have you done to your car today?

If you've driven on a flat tyre you can't repair it, well 99% of places won't do so as it weakens the sidewall

What have you done to your car today?

Unlikely if he's driven on it (no matter how far)
