GTX 1050 Ti idle temp went off

So, something is wrong with my GPU temp again. It lingers around 54C to 56C now at idle. I've downloaded process explorer and there is no GPU usage. It is only 58C when I'm playing CSGO, therefore there is nothing wrong with the temp under load. Something is wrong with the idle temp.

Ok the idle temp is back to normal. I'm not really sure about what happened, I've been surfing the internet since I posted this thread and it is okay now.

GTX 1050 Ti idle temp went off

Hi. The idle temp of my GIGABYTE GTX 1050 Ti OC was around 38C to 42C at idle. However, yesterday I removed the graphics card from my rig to test another graphics card for a purpose. After I installed back my 1050 Ti, the idle temp is around 50C to 54C. I've tried reinstalling the card itself...

Kingston UV400 vs HyperX Fury 120GB

    I don't know too. I think I'll get the UV400 then, thanks!

Kingston UV400 vs HyperX Fury 120GB

Thanks, will consider that one. I've only realised that my Corsair Force GT was a Sandforce controlled too. Guess I need to stay away from it. Btw, any idea why does it have 354TB of TBW? I'm sure it isn't a typo on the Kingston website as the 240GB version has even more TB.

Kingston UV400 vs HyperX Fury 120GB

I'm more concerned about its lifespan which means TBW is important. 354TB and 50TB is a huge difference. But the thing is what's the point of getting a SSD which its performance will degrade quickly? Just like the Corsair Force GT I've had 5 years ago. It became really slow after a year and...

Kingston UV400 vs HyperX Fury 120GB

Both are selling at the same price right now in my local PC store. The HyperX Fury basically has better specs than UV400 especially the TBW (354TB vs 50TB), except having lower read speeds in average. However, the UV400 uses Marvell controller while the Fury uses Sandforce, and I've seen tests...

    Power surge

My PSU has no issues running CPU and GPU stress tests with stable voltages. My PC is a new system. Fyi, the SSD has zero reallocated sector count when I the PC booted and ran very very slow. The reallocated sector count only spiked up to 370 after few reboots. It became 372 and now back to 370...

    Power surge

The anti-surge message only appeared once. Would this be caused by switching off the socket as the PC is freezing? I've googled and saw it somewhere that hard powering off the PC would trigger this anti-surge thing.

    Power surge

Hi, thanks for the reply, I'm posting this for my friend. His psu is new it's a FSP Hexa+ 450W. It's a new system not more than a month old. I'm more concerned about the socket as there were a lot of loads on the sockets in his room, about 6 electrical appliances excluding air-conditioner and...

    Power surge

My PC freezes suddenly and I have to switch off the socket. On the next reboot, I've received the post message "ASUS Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit". I guess a power surge just happened in my house. The problem is, my OS wouldn't load. It stuck at the...

    Intermittent RAM issues

My PC has some RAM issues which can't be figured out what is causing it. 1. A random particular RAM stick suddenly does not get detected by all 4 slots. 2. A RAM slot suddenly goes "dead". These 2 problems can be fixed by 1. Power off and on again. 2. Reseating RAM sticks. 3. Clearing CMOS...
