What PC games are you playing?

Just picked up the DLC for Terminator: Resistance half price. Loved the main game so this should more of the same awesomeness.

    Borderlands 3

After loving 1 & 2. Kind-of enjoying but ultimately giving up on the Pre-sequel about 3/4 plus through and then being somewhat disappointed with 3 (I did complete it but it felt like a slog in parts), I gave up on Tina's Wonderlands after about 15 hours. I'm not sure if the quality of the...

Tomb Raider I - III remaster

That's TR1 done. Agreed about the music, it's responsible for the biggest waves of nostalgia; my favourite emotion!

Tomb Raider I - III remaster

Just beginning Atlantis now (so 1 more level to go after this I think). Still never tried the new controls as the old muscle memory kicked in almost straight away. It's been a real nostalgia trip, particularly the awesome soundtrack. I've found it a much less daunting and even a relaxing...

Tomb Raider I - III remaster

Using tank controls and controller to mirror my original playing experience on the PS1. At level 4 but I haven't even tried the modern controls, I don't want to be tempted to dumb down and breeze through the game; the positioning of Lara for the jumps with the original controls is a major part...

Something to play with my 11 yea old that's not Minecraft

For local multi-player (although I'm sure you can connect online too if you have your own separate gaming machines) - Duck Game and Bro Force are a lot of fun. Both can be picked up for under a tenner.

What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

I've really been struggling to stick with games recently. Games like Avatar, Far Cry 6, Hogwarts Legacy - they start ok but then get so bloomin dull. Rinse and repeat quests, go here, do this, come back, interact with NPCS and listen to boring dialogue, stupid collectables that really don't...

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

I played the India Jones and the Emperor's Tomb game from 2003 just a few years back. Played it right through to the end and really enjoyed myself. Plays it bit like the original Tomb Raider games. £4.99 on GOG if you're interested.

What PC games are you playing?

Started a new playthrough of The Witcher 2 after recently completing no. 3 again and having started reading the books. What I've found most remarkable so far, is that the female mammarys seem to more varied and detailed in appearance in no.2 compared to 3. A pleasant surprise. :D

    AVATAR: FRONTIERS OF PANDORA

6900XT here. I was getting over 70 fps indoors at the beginning but as soon as I went outside I was dropping as low as 35 native. FSR Quality boosted me up to an average of 80+. It's actually only the second game I've used FSR on (the first being Robocop); my monitor is only 75Hz so that's my...

    ***Hogwarts Legacy - RPG***

The game is really RAM hungry. I have to close my browsers when playing the game or it crashes after a few minutes. I have 16GB of RAM, this is the first time I've ever had to bother closing anything else running when gaming.

YOUR Game of the Year 2023

    RE4 remake for me.

    Robocop Rogue City

The soundtrack is my favourite part of the game! All the sounds and tunage of the original movie.

What frame rate are you happy with?

I can tolerate down to 45. Can't tell the difference above 75-80.

    TMNT: Shredders Revenge DLC

I'll look to pick it up once it's under a tenner. Loved the TMNT arcade game - do you remember the arcade cabinet with the 4 player joysticks? I actually sold the SNES game cartridge Turtles in Time to CEXchange about 5 years ago for £50! Scrolling beat-em ups are awesome. You should check...

    TMNT: Shredders Revenge DLC

Agreed. Not a fan of the modern animation style. Never did see the remake. The first 3-4 episodes of the original Thundercats is brilliant though - it's a complete origin story, explains what happened to their home land (Thundera wasn't it?) and how the ended up on a planet ruled my Mum-ra...

    TMNT: Shredders Revenge DLC

Thundercats were cool for sure, I have the first season DVD boxset. I have fond memories of Captain Planet too, particularly the theme tune! I find it harder to watch these days as it reminds me a little bit of the extreme climate alarmism that's rife in society just now. Go Planeteers though! :D

The last game you completed, and rating.

I've yet to complete Blood & Wine. I went back to it a couple of times after a long gap and felt like I needed to start the game from scratch to remember all the RPG mechanics so didn't bother. I'm now doing a new playthrough from the start with the upgraded visuals. Really embracing the...

    TMNT: Shredders Revenge DLC

I would never have wagered that there were more TMNT episodes created than He-man (130)! I was just about done with Cartoons when the Turtles arrived although I do remember them being particularly cool!
