I think he could be seeing the coating on the tv, if cleaned wrong, it can get patchy, remember a lot of the coatings can even be removed/smudged like if cleaned to hard.

4080 is fine for a 1440P 144 MHz monitor i would have thought, especially if just playing that game, you don't need a 4090.

Alan Wake 2, Robocop and Cyberpunk, there are loads games that cant touch 120fps, a few even drop below 60fps, i like to have all the bells and whistles on in my games, i play on my 120hz 4K Oled, and even my 4K 60hz monitor until i get a new monitor.

Depends what res the monitor is, my 4090 on a 4K monitor/tv, struggles at a lot of recent games to get even 80/100fps with all graphics enabled.

But the worst feeling, if you get killed trying to get out with the item :) but that's what makes Tarkov great.

Yeh its a great game, had game since launch and still get lost on woods :)

I never use the optimize feature, always turned off for me, much better doing it yourself in game settings.
