I have looked at some of the old Cleveland wedges. Some Ping glide 2 or 3. Today I have a decent set looking set of cobra snake bite wedges on eBay of a half decent price. The other opinion is to buy some a cheap set, until my game really improves. I keep seeing the Lazarus wedge set on...

Wedges, thinking about buying a couple. In my bag I currently have a PW 42.5as a part of my iron set and an Alien 54 sand wedge what I picked up for the grand total of £8.50. Was thinking about picking up a 50 and 58. Maybe even replacing my current 54. Would be looking at 2nd wedges.

i played my first round in 20 years this afternoon, forgot how much I enjoyed it. I scored 128, seems reasonable after so long away. My friend who started playing last year, scored 115 and he was well chuffed as it was his best round yet.

Yes I meant for a basket of balls. At mine I pay £5 for 25, £6 for 50, £7 for 75 and £8 for 100. But there is nothing fancy, no track master, just a old school range.

Today was a costly experience at the driving range. Took my 8 year old son, who wanted to come and give it a try. My local range had some junior club they lend out. After I got my lad set up and swinging he was more than happy. I got myself set up in the bay next to him, after my warm up...

Yes third item the saving was much more than the £5.99, not stressing just frustrated with the there poor system. The thing that made me laugh 20mins after I posted this thread they emailed me saying the last item is on the way.

Anyone else used sports direct online and select delivery? I am not the biggest fan of sports direct for many reasons, I know there customer service is shocking and I do try to avoid using them. I ordered a few items, two of those where the same price as else where, but the third items was...

Took my new 2nd hand clubs to the range yesterday, I purchased 100 balls. Still relatively happy with my swing using irons, after many years away from the game. Trying to determine the distance I hitting was hard, due hitting into the on coming wind. Still plenty room for improvement. Down...

last weekend I mentioned how I was trying to get back into the game, been up the range a couple more time and how I was looking at buying clubs 2nd hand. Been looking in some of the usual places over the last month, Gumtree was always some really old clubs like I would have used 20 years ago...

Just from what I have read and seen on YouTube. I would agree the advancement in driver and woods. Plus now there are hybrids to choose from, that this is where a lot of the advancement have been made sense I last played. I am looking forward to trying a newish driver, my friend who plays...

Forgiving is the most important thing for me, at the moment I have been looking at 2nd hand Callaway Rogue ST max irons or Taylor made stealth irons. Iam sure there are older forgiving irons or brands that I am not familiar with that I need to research. I totally agree it’s the not club that...
