Yeah I've got a bit of clearance but not a horrendous amount. From looking at pictures they should fit pretty snug. If they don't I'll just return them. Thanks
With the rain approaching I'm in need of winter proofing my bike. Looking at getting SKS Raceblade Pros as I haven't got any eyelets for mounting guards on my Merida Reacto. Seen mixed reviews for Raceblades though, anybody here used them? Or is an Ass Saver just the easier way to go?
I'm a never headphones guy. Had headphones in when I was a kid and got hit by a car so since then I haven't used them. Plus on reflection its pretty unsafe.
Presuming you mean being in 34 and 28 vs 36 and 30. If so it is almost identical 34-28 is 1.21 and 36-30 is 1.20. So just slightly easier but overall almost no change between 2 lowest gears.
My bad, typo meant a 150mm. My mate has 150mm 3T Apto he was using on an old bike but not currently using. I tried it on the reacto and yeah not going to work. So just slamming it instead, the reacto position is actually pretty fast not slammed anyway.
So I bought myself a new road bike, 2015 Merida Reacto 4000 for only £500. Position needs work probably going to put on and slam a 190mm stem. Then I should be set.
If Froome wants to win he will have to do a Giro style attack on the final mountain stage I guess. But that stage is just before TT so he could still lose time on TT.
OK promise this is my final post about buying my new bike. The Canyon AL 7.0 is discounted £100 to £899 and that's tipped it for me now screw the Allez Elite . Just a few questions about Canyon bikes.
1.How much assembly is required?
2.Does someone have to be there for the order as my house is...
Yeah I'm thinking get something around £1000 run it for a bit upgrade as I wish. Once graduated and fully qualified I will have much more disposable income to spend maybe just on a frame, plug in 105 groupset or maybe buy a new one and also plug in wheels as I'll buy as an upgrade first.
Yeah that was my thinking I'm not a pro I don't need the best stuff. 105 is best group set in my price range so get it over tiagra
Its at least a few hundred more than my budget though for such a small gain.
In need of some buying advice. I currently ride a cyclocross frame with shimano deoreXT gears as my road bike its heavy, too small but does have beautiful bar end shifters. I've got a summer job and planning to spend around £1000 on a new bike.
My view is try get a shimano 105 bike such as...
