I've been pulled back into Icarus. Its a massive time sink but thoroughly enjoyable (for the most part). iRacing is a title that I'll jump into a couple of times a week to bash out some races. Try to do all the long/big ones.

I think I'm finally gonna pull the trigger on this at the weekend. I think the cheapest place I've seen it for sale has been through CDKeys? I love HZD (on my 2nd attempt at playing it) so keen to see how the story evolves. Am I correct in thinking there is a HZD recap prior to starting this one?

I loved my NR200P. Had to move away from it when I went RTX 4090. Now though, with V2, I can return to a small power box. I build my daughter a PC (for Christmas) in my old NR200P. I see it every day and pine after it. Soon.

I watched quite a few of these "streamer" videos yesterday. The heavy heavy rain showers are not going to be used for any series. For the most part it is going to be light to middling rain levels. This is a good call imo. The lack of visibility would result in absolute carnage.

Any do the Bathurst 12 hour this weekend? Our team managed to finished 3rd in our split. One of the 2 guys in the winning car was a smurf which meant that car won by over a lap. This is the problem we could face in the future. Competition drives down prices for the consumer. Once you've got a Sony monopoly the prices will go up.

I found GT7 really enjoyable on the wheel. The licence tests were definitely easier on the wheel.

Forza Motorsport is not a game I'd use to judge force feedback. The game is trash on a wheel. I'm seconds a lap faster on a controller than I am on my wheel. Stick with iRacing for sure. If your reasonably competent you'll be out of rookies very quickly then make sure you have a specific route...
