Can anyone confirm if it comes with a pre applied screen protector?

I tried a few and the best ones I think were called ghost sheild or something but on white backgrounds they looked really grainy. I eventually did the crazy thing and bought the white stone dome one. It's very good but should be at the price!

Hi folks. Can anyone recommend an ultra clear plastic screen protector for the 2 XL. I've tried some tech gear ones but on white backgrounds the clarity isn't great. Do most folk just not bother with a screen protector? Thank you

Coming from a note 8 I love the phone. The screen isn't as good but it's certainly not bad and if it hadn't been for all the media/complaints I'd certainly not have noticed. I only got mine last week so maybe the later ones have been improved. I love the camera and the battery is awesome and...

Ah right makes sense. Mines is UK sim free I only got the December patch a couple of weeks ago. I do love the phone though. Had a pixel 2 but it just didn't cut it as nice as timely updates are.

Where did you see that? I know the French version is getting the update. Here in the UK we should get it by May.

Well I took the plunge today and bought a 2XL before the price went back up. Absolutely no screen issues for me, good to be back with up to date security up dates .

My phone just got the OTA update.

Mine too. It's a joke especially when even even the carrier branded phones are relatively up to date. Dunno what Samsung UK are playing at.

Very happy with the phone but concerned that it's still stuck on the August security patch. Uk unlocked phone.

I had a the standard S8 and returned it because of the red screen and went with the plus. I don't think it's huge at all and definitely notice the increase in battery life.

I got my update too and it also fixed my display . This is my third handset and all of them had the issue. It's strange I had an update last week that added more options to alter the colours but didn't fix the issue but today's on the latest handset which I only got today seems to have worked.
