I worked mine out in the end, all I had to do was fully update the drivers and then use the software to unlock the frame rate. for some reason it didn't like being locked to 30fps and as soon as I let it fly it started working fine. hope you have something as easy to fix!

I’m certainly going to be waiting till after Ces to upgrade. It’s not worth spending £400 on a vega card now if they’re going to be obseye in less than a year and replaced by something better and cheaper! Might look for a 144hz 1440p monitor though I’m the meantime though.

And the reason that I was worried about the validity of the pricing was basically the “new” 590. If you know your gonna announce something like that then why bother to release a rebranded card for a price like that... just didn’t make sense to me. If they do announce the rx 3080 at £250 though...

No. I did remove the old software etc. But I didn’t bother to reinstall. I’ve bern wondering about driver conflict though so I might try a new boot disk with a fresh install and see if that helps.
