Ultrawide is awesome. Not going back to 16:9.
I have the Dell 3415 and it's Rev A01, also bought a 980ti to go with it and it is indeed the perfect match for that res. Can max out all the latest games with it. Productivity is amazing. I write and record music on Ableton, Studio One and...
Shills have been around for ages. They are not too difficult to spot really. Most forums on the net that have a big membership/influence and talk about any sort of consumer products have them.
I indulged myself for a change...I pre ordered on Steam. I normally don't do that for new games (usually get the cheapest retail/e-tail available) but I'm not waiting a single minute longer than I have to to play this :p Considering the 100's of hours I'll likely get out of it through playing...
Get both, that's what I'm doing :D
2 openworld sandbox games within a week is a rare thing. Both will keep me going for several months...they make a nice contrast. One completely OTT/nuts and the other typical fantasy. Not to mention all the modding possibilites...
There's conflicting reports over release time. Hines said midnight everywhere but I've also I read it will be midnight US west coast for everywhere at that moment, so that would make it 8 or 9am? UK time.....guess we'll just have to wait and see :p
I think most people will agree SR2 pc version was a bit a trainwreck (myself included). Best thing to do is just wait it out and see what people say about this new one after release. Can't get burnt that way ;)
As above, the first two were good. I bought Disciples 3 on sale a while back and have to say it wasn't too bad, at least the first several hours or so. Can't fault the art style, loved it. The biggest issue I had with it was the shear repetition after the freshness wore off....I got to the stage...
Nope, they are doing the pc version in-house this time. They've admitted that outsourcing SR2 pc port was a mistake.
Looking forward to this. It looks crazier than ever :)
Which appears to be the same or better than previous games from what I've heard so far. There will be no ceg encryption so things like obse are possible. The devs have said there is more scripting possibilities built in this time even without an extender so that's a plus. They are still using...
^I would imagine a game this big will get a pre-load at some point before release. As for modding it should be no problem at all. Bethesda are releasing a kit for us and script extenders will be possible. So it should in theory be as easy or even easier to mod than previous games.
I don't care for being a fan of either. As a consumer I'll get whatever is cheapest and less obtrusive/restrictive, DRM-wise.
Hence, I've bought games on several DD platforms and countless retailers/e-tailers.
hmmm....not sure about this now. I'm glad they're giving the game a bit of soul with the npc interaction focus but the sandbox has always been the strength of these games, what sets them apart. The DS1 style ship thing could be okay providing it doesn't have the repetitive gameplay of DS1. But...
