    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Just capturing a photo with a phone that has DCI-P3 doesn't mean the images are properly conveying color or represented on viewers' computers correctly. Every single segment of the chain from image to monitor to capture to profile management to final image matters. Taking an image with your...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Showing side by side comparisons like this offers very little value because there are so many variables that can impact perceptible results. What we know to be be true is that the monitor exceeds sRGB gamut by 30% therefore it's not suitable for sRGB production work without using a LUT to limit...

Shifts the gamma. TFTCentral measured 2.1 with mode 2 on the G version and 2.2 with mode 2 on the F model OOB.

That's because the entire video is desaturated. I have the F version and running it in any Native gamut has oversaturated colors. How much that bugs a person is subjective. It doesn't bother me for games but for anything else(video, photos, everything web) I can't stand it.

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

If you want any sort of accuracy for the web you need to work with a colormanaged workflow. This can be done with any monitor close to sRGB or greater but if a wide gamut monitor doesn't have a somewhat accurate sRGB setting you need calibration/profiling equipment to create profiles that you...

In Adrenalin under the display tab. There's a Freesync switch there and if you hover over it it will show you the range. Let me get the monitor set up again and try to capture it. One thing that should bother people about the Freesync gamut issue is the HDR setting. While the monitor isn't true...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Yeah, I noticed that happening during my testing as well. Changing the Freesync setting or built-in profile causes the monitor to show up and unknown and drop the ICC profile. You can force the profile to load again or reboot and it will be fine. Even so, that wouldn't have much impact here...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Oh, the difference between extended and basic is the range. I don't have the monitor connected right now but I believe Extended gave me a range of 50-144 and Basic was 120-144. For my use Basic is virtually useless.

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

No it doesn't, it stays in the mode you have selected when you enable it. I noticed something was up almost immediately when I first set the sRGB mode with Extended Freesync running because everything looked muted, sort of like I was running limited signal instead of full range. Testing it...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

My 34GK950F arrived today so I spent about 6 hours testing and calibrating it. I have minimal BLB and normal IPS glow but there's one major issue(for me) that I haven't seen documented anywhere. The issue is that running "Extended Freesync" mode with DisplayPort limits the gamut to less than...

    Ryzen "2" ?

It's his system. I edited in Premiere with my 1800x for a year without issues. No crashes related to CPU and no dropped frame issues. I now have a 2700x and it's just as stable in Premiere as my 1800x. I feel like many of these content creators on Youtube have limited understanding of the...

The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

Way to move the goal posts. 1750 and 1700 are night and day. I haven't seen anyone else with an Air card on a custom loop able to run the clocks you can on your card. Your generalization just isn't true. Perhaps you haven't paid much attention to what others can get so you don't know, or perhaps...

That's actually not true. You have to be lucky to get an Air card that will run stable that high, even under water. ****, I'm still seeing posts from people with LC cards that can't run stock settings without crashing.

It works but it records the border of course. Also, Freesync behaves funny in windowed mode. As much as I like AMD, Relive isn't ready for primetime. It's buggy, cannot be forced to record a specific screen, and currently locks the card to high clocks when not in use. The quality is great when...

@AMDMatt I just saw your Wolfenstein 2 video. Are you using that capture software because Relive isn't working with the game? I played for a few hours last night and noticed Relive won't capture, it just grabs my desktop behind the game. I suspect it because of Vulkan.

I installed it this morning before I went to work. It's a little bit buggy. Myself and another person confirmed the Crimson UI sometimes crashes if you try to resize while HBCC is enabled.

WhyCry's statement is a load of crap, basically him trying to cover poor journalism. Gigabyte rep posted about on reddit about the cards like 2 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/6t5g57/aorus_x_rx_vega/ Here's the rep's response to WhyCry's post when the article first surfaced...
