The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

My Vega 64 LC arrived at my retailer today, they tested it and found it to be faulty (crash after ~20 mins in heaven). So now the wait for a new one begins. :)

Just send my Vega 64 LC off back to the retailer for RMA, now the wait for a new one begins (yet again). :)

Yeah, I hope it's a bios/driver thing too, there are TONS of Vega64 LC people having this issue, it's just silly right now. Anyway, I'll also poke the Sapphire support, the more people bringing it to their attention the better I think.

Sad to say, but welcome to the 'club'. :( I have exactly the same issue as you do with my Vega 64 LC. I can play The Witcher 3 by limiting it to 60fps in the settings, but yeah, gotta be careful not to push it too hard. It's super weird though, because if I play DOOM with VSR to 4K, all maxed...

IMO you should return it. The way I think of it is like this: I'm paying good money for a graphics card, and I want it to work perfectly out of the box, if it doesn't, it should be fixed. If it were some cheap whatever thingy, I wouldn't really care, but this is quite a bit of money we're talking.

It was on 950 for me when I set it to manual, when I set it to 1050 and applied it, it still crashed unigine heaven within 1 minute though. :( Either way, thanks for the advice! Highly appreciated. :)

Ditto! The retailer probably won't tell me, but once I get a reply to my RMA request I'll ask them how many LC cards they have had to RMA already.

I tested my card once more with The Witcher 3, without any framecaps and that crashes my card rather soon as well. I then hooked up a second PSU (700W) to my graphics card, same result. I just contacted Scan to get a replacement card.. shame :/

Hm that would suck, but fair enough. The odd thing is that the unigine valley benchmark has been running steadily for 30 minutes so far.. :( Also, it may be interesting to mention that my system was fine running furmark for 30 minutes

Yeah :( The fact that it hasn't crashed yet on the unigine valley benchmark makes me sceptical if the card is broken or if the benchmark somehow does something super funky though. Can anyone else run unigine heaven for 30 minutes without any issues? On the latest driver that is.

Another VEGA 64 LC owner here, came home hoping to play around with undervolting. After playing around with it a bit combined with furmark, people recommended me to use unigine heaven/valley instead. Sadly enough my system seems to crash on unigine heaven when my card is at stock voltages and...
