that particular connector is keyed one way, if you install it wrong you can damage the small plastic tab inside on the motherboard side and create a ground short which will stop any pc from powering on. Did you plug it back in and flip it the other way or leave it unplugged?

I would say the psu is the problem, if it worked before putting in the new card then the power the 4070 has pulled has probally damaged something. do you have a spare psu you could try without the 4070 just to make sure the pc will power up before buying a replacment unit?

if you take the 4070 out and try to power on what happens?, how old is the power supply?

:eek: kolink psu's dont have a very good rap tbh, are you using a dedicated gpu in the build and if so what gpu are you running? I would strongly advise looking over your psu first, you would mostly likley need a 650-750w psu depending on what gpu you have. look at something else than kolink too.

Are the stuttering issues present if you dont use any of the extention cables, just plug the psu cables directly into the components. Also never head of fanxiang, as above check temps and make sure it and the other drive and cool and not throttling.

you tried a DDU, maybe somethings corrupted in the software? latest version is 24.3.1.

if your clock clocks were at 5.5-5.6ghz your temps would likley be around the 100c mark, voltages would have to be increased a fair bit to get those kind of clocks, out of box settings would allow this but at the cost of very high temps.

Did you by chance have a amd gpu before going to the 4070, the error your getting relates to amd gpu's specifically, i would download DDU and make sure to remove anything amd graphics related and try again.
