Spec me a medium capacity wireless router

You could try looking at Draytek as they have a few models around that price. It's a bit more but I have used the Draytek 2820n succesfully on a site about triple the size of the one you are proposing. The site also has a Draytek 2600 which also works flawlessly. :D Cheers

    web based clocking in system?

Try TimeTrex... it is quite in depth so you may find it overkill for your needs but I've used it to some success. http://www.timetrex.com/index.php

    How good is STALKER?

I love the game. It's a refreshing change from other FPS's, good replay value and mods with a deep atmosphere that is so rare in FPS's. It does have some bugs so you may find yourself saving lots. Here's hoping Clear Sky exceeds in all the places SOC missed a beat.

Got to be my Cherry MX 3000 keyboard. It sure is dirty and it may even smell a little, but I love it in all its stained beige glory.

    Video editing spec check please!

I'd recommend more HD's in some kind of RAID config. Even RAID 1 is great for editing multiple streams. Also 2 monitors are a godsend.

out of the loop - Check my Spec please

That is the question with ATI at the moment. Damn them for making the 48** such damn good value. I guess in 6 months if there's no sign of movement on ATI drivers then I can always pop in a 260/280.

    mass email software?

Most good email clients will let you manage reasonable size mailing lists and import contact lists from csv files. If you want real big lists that your users can subscribe/unsubscribe then I guess something like Majordomo may be worth looking at. Also there is a free version of LISTSERV but...

I'm not going to spec you as i'm not up to date with the latest and greatest hardware but i'll give a few pointers i've learned building edit boxes. 2. If you must go with vista I'd go for the safe supported option with Vista 32 as even studio 11 is only recommended for 32bit so far. 3...
