Cheers Memphis, Really appreciate your help. I ran Memtest86+ and got loads of fails in dual channel mode on test 6. I then ran the dimms separately and test 6 passes 4 runs on one of the dimms but gets loads of ails on the other. The RAM must be fubar'd on one of the sticks so it's RMA time.

Hi John, No I still cant get the ram to run the BLEND test on Prime95, even at really low speeds (eg, 1200mhz)... yet it will run the small and large ffts all day. I suppose I need to try memtest to eliminate the RAm one way or another? Do you thin it's voltages that are not high enough...
