Went for an Acer XV340CKP instead. IPS instead of VA, but had the 144Hz refresh rate and 2x DisplayPort connections I was after.

What kind of budget figure are you working with? The Gigabyte G34WQC you mentioned in your list, is one of several models in the same price range, which all use the same Samsung VA curved panel. If you check around the forum however, there have been loads of people getting flickering problems...

Latest from OCUK on the supply of G34WQC, is that there are problems with panel production, and OCUK may be waiting around 3-4 weeks before delivery. I'm going to look for something else.
