Well I am happy with my 5700xt. I have simply used it as it came and the noise is fine and it comfortably exceeds 100 FPS at PUBG with my 2600x playing at 1440p.
I managed to get Fortnite running at 60 FPS by playing through the Nividia Experience program and also downloading the GeForce game driver program. It uses a mixture of high and medium settings with vsync turned completely off. Game looked and played well enough and outside the lobby it was...
Fortnite should play fine with a 4 core CPU and also a GTX 660 so I do not know why I encounter problems other than the CPU is quite low end CPU. If anyone can recommend a better approach/ better CPU it would be most welcome.
I bought a mid-price gaming PC around 2012 and would like to upgrade if I can to be able to play PUBG.
Is it possible to simply upgrade to a new graphics card or are the limitations of the processor and RAM too much to overcome?
