The Director is just Bungie's name for the main screen where you choose the missions. Start off at the Tower to pick up some quests and go from there. There's loads to do! If you're on xbox live then feel free to add me.

Started IB last night. Four games played, top of my team in every one, and even top overall score in one game. Lost all 4 games. On a positive note, now that I'm 330 Light (vs 320 Light in the last IB) I can finally feel that I'm making a difference and not getting one-shotted all the time.

Y1 player here, and this IB was the very first time I've bothered to play to rank 5. In terms of drops, I received a bunch of Iron Companion helms ranging from 311-318, a couple of 320 ghosts, and a 320 titan mark. My rank 5 package contained a 319 Deidris's Retort shotgun and 322 Zombie...

Finally reached level 30 then played my very first Daily mission at the General Assembly. Got booted right at the end just before i was able to pick up my rewards...grrrr...

So I was rewarded with a blue Scar-H after the Napalm/Joe Ferro, but my inventory was already full and now theres no sign of it. I take it its gone forever?

Pretty sure the answer to your first question is yes. The DPS scales up as you level. In regards to quick transport, iirc pressing F simply sets the waypoint. You need to then press X to fast travel, then errrrr spacebar to confirm, I think.

Played for the very first time today, for about an hour on the xbox one. The sheer amount of information displayed on the HUD, together with the third person perspective really makes for a claustrophobic experience for me! It will take some getting used to....
