    Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

I guess it was too optimistic to expect a fix this quickly

Have had the chance to see if RT is improved? Unfortunately for me, the kids require entertainment

    Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

This does in fact work, I certainly don't see the massive frame drops nor stuttering. Thanks

I'm at just over 50 hours, but that includes completing the secret ending. I hope for a story DLC, or better a sequel!

The 3rd boss Nemesis is so cool, I won't spoil it, but it's immense.

How are you finding the upgrade? I've noticed a massive difference with GPU utilization and certainly less stutter. The biggest difference I've seen is in TLOU. On the 5600 I was dropping to 45fps on the opening street sequence. Now it's at the very least hitting 60+.

I found Ixion the toughest fight, followed by Nemesis.

    5800X to 5800X3D

Agree with this, I just did the same jump. For example I know it's a poor example but, for TLOU this is what I noticed. The street scene at the start of the game was stuttering all over place with dips to 45fps. However now at the very least, I'm maintaining 60fps while and also hitting a higher...

Lol, I just did the same yesterday but I had a 5600. The difference in 1% lows is astonishing. Also the 4070TI is also much happier now because it's not being held back. I was in two minds whether to jump on AM5 but the platform change was too expensive considering I have a car repair bill next...

I find using a controller far easier nowadays, probably due to age

If it's any consolation, it took me nearly 20 hours to beat Biome 1, however after 50 I've completed including the secret ending. BTW Pylon driver and Thermogenic launcher FTW

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

I'm currently using a 5600 with a 4070TI and there is some bottlenecking especially with RT enabled. Most noticable in Spider man and Cyberpunk. Everything else so far is good. I have been thinking of getting the X3D, however ATM I just can't justify the extra outlay just for a few frames...

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

Yeah generally 70-80 with DLSS quality and GPU usage around 80-90% most times. So if the GPU has headroom then a faster CPU would allow more fps, especially the lows!

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

I'm using Ryzen master I get a 100mhz OC, my board is the MSI B550 pro gen so certainly not the best.

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

Yeah maybe it's me treating Cyberpunk like the OG Crysis being the be and end all of having a well performing PC. I have plenty of other games that are pretty much maxed out and run great. For example spiderman remastered is between 62-90 in native res, with crowd/traffic on low, with object...

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

So I've also lowered resolution and the fps remained the same, going from 1440 to 1080. Both GPU usage well below 98%, bit once I switch to 4k the usage is 98%. Definitely need a faster CPU for the lower res.

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

I'll stick with it, unless I see a great deal on the X3D otherwise I'll wait to move to AM5.

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

Mines the non X version, so overclocking is very limited. I might just make do until I move onto AM5 further down the line. Unless of course I see a great deal on a 5800X3D

5700X enough for the Nvidia 4070TI

Ok I did as you suggested and regardless of DLSS setting my FPS while stationary is identical of 69-70. So it seems it's bottlenecking.
