    Fabric chairs

the secret lab is just a much better chair and they come in at a similar price iirc, things like the mechanism rattling/clicking on the icon, the seat base being hard the titan seems to be better in all marks imo, ymmv

    Fabric chairs

I dont know about the others in the range but the icon is a really uncomfortable chair switched to a secret lab titan fabric chair now and its a big improvement, particularly the built in lumbar support that wont slip out of place like the pillow you have for most chairs

New HTC Vive advice pretty please !

Mr recommendations Superhot VR is pretty good and it not long ago released with a steam native version, so you can avoid the revive hackery, well deserved credit to the guy that made it but it is still a compromise over native support and I just didnt want to install the oculus store on my PC, I...

Steam link to view playscreen of HTC Vive?

So I imagine the steam link is probably better for latency on the mirror TV, but if you have one already like many people do you can use a chromecast, just do full screen sharing and display the mirror window from the PC.

    Decisions Decisions.. Rift vs Vive

SteamVR implements this, if you play a game through SteamVR I fully expect you will have chaperone. edit: note if there is an oculus API specific version and a steam version, you may need to use the steam version or revive. wont be enough to just link and launch the oculus specific version of...

    Decisions Decisions.. Rift vs Vive

It depends where you put your tracking sensors or lighthouses and how you set your bounds within that, I have a reasonable sized main room and if i emptied it all out I could absolutely have 4.5m x 6m, but being practical I instead just use a 3m x 3m space that is clear except for a coffee table...

    Decisions Decisions.. Rift vs Vive

On the point about USB ports Both have had their issues, in my machine I have 4 root USB hubs for some reason and the vive doesnt like to be plugged into one of them (manifests in being unable to use front camera, which i dont tend to use anyway). There is a tool called USBTreeView that proved...

    Decisions Decisions.. Rift vs Vive

I would say perhaps the choices should be PSVR vs Vive The major deterrent for the Vive was the cost and availability of space for roomscale, but if both of those are factors for you then perhaps just go PSVR, it sounds like its titles are much better polished anyway Comfort of the PSVR is a...

Had an oculus demo today and...

Let me recoil in horror at even the thought of that, any perceivable latency is just terrible, it has to be spot on so that when your brain tells your head to move it doesn't sense a disconnect between what its doing and what your eyes are seeing Swivelling your head to mouselook is DK1...

    Wireleess Vive

Adds 15ms of latency from what I understand so far, sounds positive but I'm going to wait for a review before i get too excited.

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

Any good garage can remove a locking nut, they are really only for preventing someone from putting your car on bricks and stealing your wheels in the street If it was part of the service that you paid for to do something requiring the wheels to be taken off and they didnt do it, they have...
