Hi guys - I have to switch my heatsink to a different model and I was wondering if I had to completely clean the CPU of arctic silver or just mount the new CPU. If so, what is the best poduct?

Can I just ask what everyone is using to read temps via software? My abit p6 bios temp now sits around 32 but core temp shows the cores fluctuating around 25.

I weighed up about the 4890 and thought the 5770 edged it because it is quieter (from what I could gather) and a tad cheaper.
