    My motherboard refused to post. Not submerged but used the air blower and sprayed the alcohol all over it back and front. Then let it dry for a couple of days. Works fine now.

    Silly question but have you let the mobo dry out for a few days then used air blower + cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol?

    Hi all. My friend has an office desktop pc and wants another person to share it's resources from a different desk. I think the Pi would be ideal. Can anyone advise how the Pi user can connect to the pc in the same office and use it at the same time as another user? Thanks in advance.

    I am also looking at the GX820B. If you check out reviews...a lot sing it's praises so that's the one I will probably go for. Currys have it for sale. In fact going along there now to have a demo.

    What was your first PC spec?

    First pc was bought from Time Computers back in 2000. Had an AMD processor (think it was the one that was better than a P4 but the spec escapes me), 32gb hard drive. Cannot remember the graphic spec. It had a cd r/w which amazed me at the time!

    Built a windows xp retro gaming pc using E8400 cpu, gt 620 1gb gpu, 4gb ram, small ssd (yep I know know win xp and ssds so will install tool to apply trim), 500gb hdd, cheapest case I could find. Got a load of old games from charity/boot sales/ebay. Going to show young nephews what they missed!

    Tried on faceb to no avail. Further to my original post, the brackets would not tighten properly. Sorry should have made that clear.

    Hi all. I am about to install a Cryorig M9i cpu cooler on a Gigabyte B360M DS3H motherboard. The metal cooler support brackets are partially covering the boards capacitors. In fact to tighten the screws, the brackets touch the capacitors. Would this be a problem? i.e. risk of electrical short or...
