    Any news on 7800 xt?

Sapphire are doing MBA cards. You would not want to put one in a T1 though. The reference cooler for the 7800xt isn't good. Hot and noisy, will be even worse in a T1. These cards will trickle out over the next weeks, supply won't be huge though.

    Any news on 7800 xt?

Moan, moan, moan. Buy it or don't, whinging in every graphics card thread endlessly isn't going to change the state of the industry. It's xxxxxx as we all know !!!

Gigabyte B650 Gaming X (AX) Owners

The AMD / Mediatek module is trash. I ordered a 1.1 from the states with the Intel AX210 module. The 1.3 with a Realtek module should be fine. It isn't case of supply.

With a 4090 purchase, I assume you want to play at 4k? (If you don't don't, throw money into a 4090, it's a complete waste of money at 1440p and under) At 4k what CPU you have becomes less relevant as you're pretty much always going to be GPU bound. Intel 13th Gen or AMD 7000 you can't go wrong...

Best thing to do is wait for reviews (and the following performance analysis vids) of the game. A standard 7950x could even be faster here if all the game wants is cores and clockspeed.

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

They'll just use any gains from DLVR to throw into higher clocks, if it's implemented. They really need to get off the 10nm process asap as we all know. At this point I'd just write anything off until Arrow Lake, sadly.

Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbyvhMMxua0&t=1266s The Teamgroup T-Create 5600 and 6000 he talks about there are A die kits for silly cheap money. (Can order both on the rainforest) Yes you will have to tune it yourself (You'd still have to do that with a 7800 kit), that's easy...

Is it safe to build a 7800X3D system yet?

What you've seen are isolated cases, the issue is by no means viral and destroying PC's left right and centre. I've been running a 7800X3D build since week 1 and no issues. I've set my own voltages since day one. I've never used an EXPO kit in my build and not beeen subjected to any of the...

Hynix M really doesn't like that 36 setting on RCD and Pre, you'd be better off at 38 and bump Mclk to 6200. I've not seen anything fail at that with 38 or 39 on M die. More recent bins may do them reliably but I doubt it. The gradual switch over to A die will change that though (if Hynix do...

I'd try 30, 38, 38 and then tighten everything else as per Matt's suggestions. Primary timings don't really make a big impact. Seconds and tertiarys do however and this is where you want to focus your efforts to get anything out of that kit above EXPO settings. Go look at the "Actually hardcore...

If these are Samsung IC's and not Hynix M-die. You are unlikely to get these running at much more beyond EXPO / XMP. They just don't scale like Hynix M (and A) does. Matt is also giving you suggestions specifically for Hynix sets here as well, not Samsung IC based sticks. CPU-Z will tell you...

I picked this board because it has the best VRM of the b650 m-ATX boards. They all have some negatives, the Gigabyte has the least of them. I would really have liked to have seen a decent B650E board. It's just not there this Gen. Asus can shove the Gene where the sun doesn't shine at the price...

No, it's not a must have. Most motherboards also support XMP, but do check your motherboards QVL before you buy. I've seen people using cheapo boards having issues with non EXPO sticks.
