It's a few years ago now (probably about 4) but we hired a plasterer to redo our bedroom wall and it turned out to be Eddie 'the eagle' Edwards. We didn't recognise him to start with (too young:o) but our next door neighbour was star struck, never seen him so often as that day!
Played Dogs of War last night. It's the first time I've played and I didn't do particularly well but still really enjoyed it. Would like to give it another go now I've got a better understanding of how it all works.
Also had a couple of rounds of Coup, one of Anomia and one of Qwixx
This is what I do too although try to keep a small amount in most bookies.
10bet for example often email offers that, if you read the small print, are only eligible to people with a cash balance >0 in their account at the time the offer was released.
I'd be keen for this too.
There's quite a few games that I'd like to get which are currently out of print (Agricola: All Creatures for example) so would be keen to see if I could get them from fellow members. Was hoping to take a look at the UKGE sales thing but wasn't able to attend.
I got this through Kickstarter. We really enjoy it and there are a few ways to play so I'd recommend giving it another go rather than writing it off straight-away :)
Would have loved to go to this but we're camping in Devon this weekend so will have to pass. Hopefully next year (but pretty sure I said the same last year)...
I asked a similar question earlier in the thread as currently considering it but wary of the outlay.
GTanny was very helpful in post 351 which has pushed me in the direction of going for it!
Fantastic games in the play-offs for us. Thought we'd thrown it away after conceding a late equaliser in the second leg but wonderful strike to win it from Jack Stacey. Great way to get his first goal for the club!
Can't wait for Sunday, got my ticket at the ready and hope my journey back from...
Did you play the original version or the 2nd edition one with the app?
We're thinking of getting it but it's a lot to spend so good to hear you are enjoying it.
Saw that a couple of people of here recommended Patchwork so bought it as my wife and I are always on the look out for good 2 player games. Have played about 4 games so far and really enjoy like. It's simple to pick up but quite tactical and each game has turned out very differently.

Personally I'm not sure that it is. I changed my monthly subscription to annual (as it is effectively 2 months free) so get the casino cruncher as part of that. Don't use it all that often though.
If I get a sizeable balance I just withdraw. Try not to make it too frequent (not constantly taking out 20/30 etc).
The way I see it is that if I was a regular punter (which I am as well) and had a couple of big winners then I would withdraw down to a sensible balance. Don't see why doing...
High 5 is such a good offer that now is a great time to get into MB.
2nd to SP is a difficult one to hit but there are a few bookies offering refunds for 2nd place (usually on a Saturday feature race) whilst Sky offer money back for 2nd/3rd on a chosen race Sat/Sun.
There's usually a few...
Number: 9
Reaction time: 299
Verbal: 122
Visual: 8278
Got the last number wrong on level 9 as was chatting to my colleague. Happy with Verbal but the others could do with improvement!
There is a specific 2 player only version called All Creatures Great and Small which works really well. Unfortunately it's out of print but keeping an eye open as really want to get hold of a copy.
