Yes but I think that we are unlikely to see many cards that have a low margin. You note there are plenty of the high rrp to performance cards like the 3070ti and the 3080ti but absolutely none of the low margin 3080's.

Definitely the most powerful you can get. Although either will run most games just fine there are games out there that neither will manage 120Hz so the more powerful the better. 3070ti is of course more available. Both are still about double normal price :-((
