Please let's not associate "philosophy" with believing that 0.9r != 1 and mathematics with 0.9r = 1. The link you posted, is someone's opinion albeit a professional mathematician/philosopher, but that doesn't make them right; there are plently of philosophers who would disagree with it...

Funnily enough, 9.2342 - 0.2342 = 9 but that doesn't mean anything.

Just to be clear: Peter Griffin was the new account, he actually had a previous one that was banned.

But X.0 has the same value as X.000 and so on, where as X.9 doesn't have the same value as X.999 X not being anything to do with algebra, just meaning any number.
