Really happy, and I game at 1440p 144hz so this card made the most sense Vs the competition. On the hunt for a nitro+ today now.

Hey moderators, I just realised you guys added me to the TROH for a 6800, I have a 6800XT, not a 6800.

Drivers are ab-so-lute-ly perfect for everything else. Rock solid, haven't had so much as a twitch. Plug and play. Haven't tried RT yet, but this is their first generation so I probably won't even use it TBH.ll What's sad though, is it is 9 people, but I didn't even get mine on launch day. I...

The thread which sometimes talks about RDNA2

Question for you guys, what do you all think of this? AMD's 'Smart Access Memory' with the fact the new CPUs offer PCI-E Gen4 ? For some reason I thought about this and wondered whether or not, thanks to PCI-E Gen4, and this new feature...they could probably do something pretty amazing. I...

** The AMD Navi Thread **

Me too.... I wouldn't pay anymore than 400-ish for my AIB model, though... I've waited this long for a 5700XT..if Sapphire pulls out a Nitro+ at over 420 then I'm biting the bullet on a sub-400 AMD 5700XT and I will add my own cooling later. One thing that has me worried is the fact that the...

** The AMD Navi Thread **

Following reviews on how hot the RX5700XT Reference cards are..decided to wait for the Sapphire Nitro+ version. This is the response I got from Sapphire directly: ----- Dear Customer : Thanks for your inquiry and your supporting to our product. The Nitro series and Pulse series will launch...

** The AMD Navi Thread **

I was originally planning on buying a 5700 for the 379 pricetag (or if a Vega 64 performed better upon seeing 3rd party benchmark results) but now that the 5700XT will be priced at 399, I am literally placing my order first thing tomorrow morning. Will probably prepare a few FPS comparisons...

Will you buy a RX 5700 Or RX 5700 XT?

For all those who thought the 5700 & 5700 XT were too expensive (which is fair), I'm curious to know what do you think of the new rumoured prices (if true)? Would that XT be worth it for that cost? RX 5700 XT: $399 RX 5700: $349 Source: Videocardz

Will you buy a RX 5700 Or RX 5700 XT?

Amen to that. Thanks for reply - yes indeed it is a little too high..but considering what options exist (and that I'm not really willing to wait, to push my 2k 144Hz monitor), not really giving myself much of a choice..I would be lying, though, if I said I wasn't at least a little...

Will you buy a RX 5700 Or RX 5700 XT?

Yes, I am ! (readers read on first, before posting any angry replies) :) Currently I'm considering buying the 5700 as an upgrade for my RX580 8Gb Sapphire Nitro+ (which I got at launch for MSRP £249). The money is literally sitting there, just waiting for this care to become available...

    CPU or GPU upgrade first?

I know what you mean. Spending the 300+ on a GPU for either a Vega 56 or the new 5700 doesn't feel worth the money spent, going from an rx580 8gb. It's a tough call. Think it's worth saving for the extra 100+ and go for the 5700XT or a competitor's equivalent? It really is a bad time to upgrade...

    CPU or GPU upgrade first?

Thanks for reply. I did think of making the jump from hex to octo-core..however I fear my little B350 may not be able to really use it to it's full potential. And I simply cannot justify spending all that money on a 3800X (which doesn't look too impressive IMO in the price/perf category compared...

huge difference in CPU score on Time Spy changing mem to C18 from C19

That is a huge drop for such a small change, but remember that overclocking your RAM to anything above the rated frequency of 3200Mhz, and then tweaking the mem timings, the mem timings will have a greater effect on stability, the higher frequency you go. Something isn't right with that C18...

Best 32gb or 64gb USB 3.0 Flash drive?

Funny you make this reference as coming from the days of 1.44Mb Floppy disks -> CDs -> DVDs -> 64/128/256/512Mb USB Flash drives...I've always been amazed that 64/256GB fits on a something the size of your thumbnail. What a world we live in. ey? :)

Added: Ryzen vs RAM 2133MHz vs 2400MHz vs 3200MHz vs 3600MHz With Tweaked Timings

Sure dude, no probs, I did commend you for doing it in the first place. It, just, should be expected that on an overclockers forum that (speaking for myself) I would want to dig in to the numbers some more. It is a solid comparison and a good job all round - we just have differentiating...
