Cannot really recomend anything from Intel right now, they are in such a bad place. 3600 is solid, 3700 though has grunt to spare.

Set a static IP address for your computer thats within the normal dhcp range of the router and then turn DHCP off on it. Sounds dodgy having to keep resetting it, should be on all the time and never need rebooting.

If your doing a rebuild then 100% always do a fresh windows build, its not worth the hassle. Windows 10 drivers are crap, always go to the manufacturers site and download the latest ones, your leaving performance sitting on the table without them.

Yeah ie was dead ages ago, that said Edge is ok... ish Not as good as FF and chrome but a hell of a lot better than IE. I couldnt do without chromes ability to log in and follow me between devices, i have all my fav's and stuff where ever i go - that and addblock.. must haves.

Chrome and Firefox are significantly better than IE which is utter crap, cant believe you have been using it until now.
