Thunderfly removed from monitor - my experience and tips

I laid the monitor frame on the bed and lifted the panel up at an angle. With a lint free cloth, I wiped across the back of the LCD panel (cloth facing up) and then wiped the diffuser (cloth facing down). Then with a torch, shined at various angles on both surfaces to see any residual dust...

Thunderfly removed from monitor - my experience and tips

Had a fly in my monitor for months and it has been doing my head in. It was pretty much in the centre of the screen and when I first spotted it I thought it was on the front and squashed it... Tip 1 - don't squash thunderflies as they might be in the screen..... I took the monitor apart when...

Images of items I have purchased (except trainers)

The seat is slammed down quite a bit as that is both comfortable and looking at a load of bike fit videos the correct height for me. A lot of people get physical ailments as a result of their seat being too high... Question you may be able to answer, with a aluminium frame and a carbon fork...

Images of items I have purchased (except trainers)

ha ha, the bike has very thin disks on it I presume to save weight, the previous owner bought lighter wheel, a carbon seat post. They work well though, so I might keep them on :) If you look closely under the front brake caliper you can just about see the disk a bit like a spider's web.

image uploader Bought myself a new gravel bike. Had a mountain bike for the last eight years, so fancied something a little faster and lighter. Not brand new, but only had fairly light use.

    Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

If you have money to burn, invest. Lots of companies could go bust worldwide, and one going down can domino others. The best advice to investing is to always do what you would normally do. In other words, don't put more in when the market goes down, don't sell low with the hope it goes lower...

    Kindle Oasis Gen 10 cases

I did like the origami case I had with the Voyage, will check them out. In the interim, I have used a craft knife to cut open the leather Casebot case and move the magnet. It almost works perfectly, but for some reason it randomly sleeps the Kindle when I fold the cover back.

    Kindle Oasis Gen 10 cases

Just sold my Voyage and bought a 2019 Gen 10 Kindle Oasis. I bought a Casebot leather case for it, a bargain at £9.99, and whilst it fits it well it does not wake / sleep the Kindle. Considering using a craft knife on it to move the magnet (for some reason Amazon moved the magnet position...

*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

well, had my first game in a few days, joined a TDM team that was being farmed by the other side. 5 kills and 5 deaths (all by Type 2As of course) and then quit. Absolute trash, and no fun. Seems reporting hackers is pointless too as they never seem to get banned, so even if I play again...

Same here I think. Played a couple of games tonight and got killed 90% of the time by Type 2A. You are dead before you can react to that gun. I do have it fully unlocked, but refuse to use it. So because medics can self-heal, let's give them a sniper rifle. Wait they are not OP enough...

*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

I am getting a lot of crash to desktop again in this game since the last patch :( The new gun is mental 1200 RPM so everyone is using it. It drops people in the blink of an eye, so you can't respond to it. They have literally broken the game with on one hand raising the TTK on all guns then...

Seems even worse after the fix....joined 10 games tonight, all thumping losses that were lost before I joined - everyone using the type 100 with zero recoil, some players going 50 - 2 on the other teams, our team just being farmed - turned it off, can't be bothered with that nonsense

Well this game is awful since the patch. Is there something wrong with the STG44? I seem to get killed a lot almost instantly with it where other guns seem to take ages. It is just painful to play now

Mine was doing that - took the overclock off my memory and hasn't done it since. There are actually crash dumps created in %localappadata%\CrashDumps. That might give you a clue

Keep getting crashes to desktop, looking at the crash dump: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
