This is a flaw of the Switch, the hardware is not capable of easily rendering a dense open world and the developer did what they could at the time. Maybe the next switch will be better and allow more expansive games I do understand that there are some 3rd party open world games on the Switch...

As far as I know there isn't really anything using those cores that could be considered "real world". On phones AI cores are used heavily for photo and video processing, so maybe on PC Photoshop will use those cores

USB fans will just work... If it's a wall fan, then there is a mismatch between the voltage required for the fan motor and the voltage output of the wall socket, otherwise your fan motor is dead/dying
