Computer won't boot to bios. Mobo failure?

Did you use the SATA power cables from the Corsair PSU on the EVGA PSU? I didn't check the cable pinouts, but general rule of thumb is to only use the cables that came with the PSU. Try taking the components out of the case and booting up with only essential components (i.e. no drives...

    Motherboard for Ryzen 5 3600x

If you want to stick with micro-ATX form factor, then the MSI B450M Mortar MAX is a good option.

Any AMD mini-ITX board with M.2 slot on the backside? (for a Ryzen 2 build)

3700X is 3rd gen Ryzen on Zen 2 architecture.

Any AMD mini-ITX board with M.2 slot on the backside? (for a Ryzen 2 build)

Note that none of the AM4 ITX B450 and X470 motherboards have BIOS flashback buttons, so if the B450/X470 ITX motherboard you pick isn't shipped with a Ryzen 3000 compatible BIOS, you'll need a 1st or 2nd gen Ryzen CPU in order to update the BIOS. The Gigabyte X570 I, however, does have the...

Any AMD mini-ITX board with M.2 slot on the backside? (for a Ryzen 2 build)

The MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC also an M.2 slot on the back. The VRM is really decent, but not as good as the Gigabyte X570 I. The advantage of the MSI B450I is that it doesn't have a chipset fan.

I think the CPU is a 2600, so BIOS should be able to POST without issue.

New PC (£400ish) Build help please

Which RAM slots were you using? According to the manual it should be slots A2/B2 for 2 sticks of RAM. For the cable connecting monitor to PC, is it connected to the GPU or motherboard?

    Will this work?

There'll be people on here if you need help. There have been quite a few improvements to the BIOS since launch, so a BIOS update is probably worthwhile if the motherboard ships with an old BIOS version. If you don't need onboard WiFi, then either of these are also good ATX options: - Gigabyte...

    Will this work?

The Corsair RM650 (2019 version) also has 10 year warranty, but can be found for under £79. That motherboard has an awful VRM for its price. If you want an X570 motherboard with WiFi, then the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus WiFi is better value for money. Otherwise, save some cash and go for the...

And Lewis Hamilton matches Michael Schumacher's 7 titles!

I really hope Hamilton surpasses the record. In my opinion, the biggest thing that taints Schumacher's record is that he seemed like he purposefully crashed into championship rivals in order to prevent them from scoring points. I don't think I've ever seen a hint of these types of actions from...

    MATX motherboard for 3700X

The B450 Tomahawk is regular ATX size. If going for a mATX B450 motherboard, then the MSI B450M Mortar MAX (Socket AM4) DDR4 mATX Motherboard would be the one to look for.

Nice mATX case thats compact and doesn't have terrible thermal performance.

Not sure if there's room for your AIO and GPU at the same time, so you'd need to check the dimensions, but here's another micro-ATX case for your consideration: Silverstone SST-PS15B-RGB Micro ATX

    Some system advice needed

Many of the Corsair RAM kits use Hynix memory, but not all. I've seen a few SKUs of Corsair RAM that have used Samsung B-die, but not that many and also tend to be much more expensive. Micron E-die (Rev E) is likely going to be easier to overclock than Hynix memory if you'll be using it with a...

    Some system advice needed

I wouldn't have chosen that motherboard due to its bad VRM design. At the ~£90 range the MSI B450M Mortar Max is far better value, despite it being micro-ATX.

MSI X570 gaming edge WiFi problem with Ram

Sorry to hear you're having a bad time with the new hardware. It might be the RAM being problematic. But if you're close to the end of the return window, then it's understandable that you'd just want to return everything.
