    Zen 2 is not bandwidth limited so higher speed ram does not do a lot between say 3200-3733. Concentrate more on the timings. 3200C14, 3600C16. Lowering latenecy is probably more beneficial than speed

    Cant say its the same with Zen 2. But if it is the 3800X will have better multicore performance. The 2700X is designed with a higher tdp than the 2700 to keep more cores boosted, will be better binned to keep power and temps down. Better multicore performance from the Higher tdp cpus...

    Intels replacement bus for high core counts is slower than the ring bus they currently use, ring bus will start slowing the cpu down as core count increases. 7+nm verses 10nm will be interesting
