    The Intel Arc owners thread

Still a brilliant card from 8 years ago! Its certainly showing its age now with modern titles at good settings, I have seen plenty of second hand 2080tis - I bet that was a nice jump? More so if I have the 6BG version I guess. (Daughters PC)

    The Intel Arc owners thread

Would this be a noticeable difference at 4k against a 980ti? Only very light gaming but the 980 is becoming a bit of a dinosaur now. Can see these priced very reasonably for 16GB would be interesting in trying the A770

Does something need to be done about dogs?

I have two on that list, boxer and GSD! By nature they are big dogs, if you are a responsible owner and regularly exercise your dogs and socialise them I can't ever see mine hurting someone. Lock them up in a house 24/7 and neglect them, can see how they would snap or be extremely nervous if...

    Best £200 card

It used to be my quick go to to compare GPU's. Guess not now, I have looked at most AMD GPUs and they all are like the above, very strange comments to publish ha!

    Best £200 card

Thinking of upgrading an old 980ti in my daughters pc. Becoming a bit of an issue with gpu crashing. Looking at a RX 7600 ran the comparison on userbenchmark and am a bit shocked at there description, I mean what the???

**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

Hello, this has probably been asked 1000 times but between the below what would you recommend all are around the £280 mark. Poco F5 Poco X5 Pro Redmi Note 13 Pro from China - Unsure if this will be fully supported here in the UK? Note really wanting second hand but have seen some good deals on...

Terminate HP agreement at 50% paid

This is exactly how it went for me except they collected the car on a transporter, sent it to BCA. Zero hassle and quite easy.

Red, Yellow, Green, Brown, Blue, Pink and Black. It's the General Snooker Thread!

The thing Ronnie has is an aura, I imagine the younger players playing him are already beaten mentally. When he is not personally fighting his demons the guy is by far the most talented player to have ever played and been 48 is just unbelievable he must have some very good muscle memory, I am...

    Show Us Your Motors!

Hi yes have had it since new with exactly 6 delivery miles! Got it the end of September 2021. I always enjoy estate vehicles even though I’d do Ok with a saloon. You can’t beat the space and the practical aspect of an Octavia, a Skoda with umbrellas in the doors? Madness ha!! They have loads of...

Can't say I've ever used the built-in nav, always use Apple CarPlay. Prefer Google maps over any integrated nav on any car. Just for the History aspect and traffic updates are much better. When you say downgrade, what did you have before?

I know ! :D In all seriousness though my older MK3 was manual and the DSG is fantastic. I genuinely don't miss a manual.

What have you done to your car today?

I agree but the engine is ran quite warm first so this should pump most of it through. Can't be done on cold oil. I honestly don't see an issue with this method, some manufacturers do reccomend pumping oil. I'll pop back in 15k miles and report the engine is cooked :D

What have you done to your car today?

Cheated and did an oil change on the wife's car a bit different. Must say I got exactly 4.3L out, oil capacity is 4.5L so that's me no longer taking out 65 bolts 24 under trays then to struggle with the sump plug :D just a £15 Amazon oil pump. Took around 5 mins in total, the pop bottle is just...

They certainly have come along way with the latest gen. Feels a lot more premium than an older MK3. I do prefer estate cars, super practical!

Update! Going to an iPhone after 15 years of android

I moved to an iPhone a few months ago from Android. Still not 100% fluid like I was with Android after 10+ years. It’s not vastly different but apps are built differently like chrome not having the navigation menu at the top, it’s at the bottom. I miss the main navigation bar on Android, feels...
