Ok sounds good, i dont think it should be much just to change the seals but we will see, anything is better than paying £680 + VAT or whatever it was.
Oh and doesnt FAB have a website also?
Well i think its simply a oil seal has gone as the oil is spilling out, no damage to the casing so ill give them a shout, thanks for the info.
i dont think i will be upgrading it to be honest as i just need it running for now :P.
Hi, i no a lot of you have bmw's so i thought i would try here.
I recently bought a BMW 320td compact sport 2002 that needs a inlet manifold (little flaps that snap off and go into the engine is bent and ready to fall off) and it needs a turbo also.
I have found a inlet manifold i can use...
A mate of mine had a k6 a while back that snapped in half after landing a wheelie heavily because he is a idiot, he might not of been here today if it wasnt the loom holding the bike together while he stopped, that got replaced under warrenty when it was about 6 months old :O
I think it is for trim removal also, probably used it to get the handbrake cover off to adjust it up on the service (even though they pull off easily, no pun intended).
There horid! but the only thing your gonna get cheap thats going to be ok i guess.
If it was me (and if i had money atm as there not cheap) id get a rs125.
Why is it a waste of time?
Its his hobby, its better than collecting stamps!
I think its a good idea to try and push the boundaries and have a lot of fun along the way.
Go for it! at least someone is still doing this sort of thing! :)
If one of those came loose it would go through the wing (or whatever way it was pointing).
My boss had a set of coil spring clamps fail on him and the coil spring went right through the roof of the garage and landed next door but 1, the power in them could have easily took his face clean off if...
Its possible that the gear linkages may not of been attached properly when the clutch was fitted.
You will probably be able to see by poping up the bonnet if you no what you are looking for.
Its this, i used to work next door to a tyre house and every couple of cars there used to be back the next day, it was silly how many times they got it wrong tbh, after working there for a year or so you would think they would know what they are doing.
If he advised you then whats the problem, if there not working well then why havnt you changed them already?
The garage only need to advise if they are working but not to a high standard, it is then down to you to get them changed, getting in touch with VOSA for something like this is complete...
Thats what i thought, or go unless it is unsafe, either way im retarded and i got flashed, im living with that thought now.
As to the forward facing lights have to be white what about indercators? :p
Also on the new BMW's when your sidelight goes the indercator stays on instead untill you...
Well i wasnt sure if someone was right behind me because further up the road a mondeo was right up behind me like he wanted to overtake but he never did, i wanted to check my mirrors incase he was there still sniffing my fumes but couldnt tell and i dont think i could have stopped in time after i...
