I went from OLED to Mini LED

Also a recently bought the C835, loving almost everything about it but I'm getting occasional Freesync flicker when it's hooked up to the PC (Nvidia 3060ti). Anyone else noticed this?

Spec me a holiday in September

Taormina in Sicily. I went there with similar criteria and loved it! Not particularly beachy but it has a few small nice ones.

    Ebay question

I can't guarantee it if that's what you're after but I think you will survive this transaction. As for how to send: https://uk.ezilon.com/uk/business/transportation/courier_and_parcel_services/index.shtml Start from the middle and work your way through the list backwards.

Does Zen3 make the 8700k/8086k/9700k redundant or is high quality processing hardware now just affor

I have an 8700k today which can handle everything with ease, when the new AMD chips are released I'll have an 8700k that can handle everything with ease. So no it won't be redundant but there may be better chips on the market for less money. Hope that answers your question :) On a more...

Upgrade needed for music production rig - but what?

Yeah, should be. I've got an Adata SU650 960Gb though which is doing a fine job and they can be had for under £80 if you shop around.

    Outer Wilds, No Man's Majora?

Caused a moderate stirring on that there internet because it's crowdfunded and an Epic store timed exclusive. Maybe annoying for those that funded, but I didn't and don't care.

    Who's had a hair transplant?

Take the money then just put the photos up here for a touch up. What's the worst that could happen?

    Outer Wilds, No Man's Majora?

It's brilliant, only around 5 planets but still more to explore and uncover than no man's sky :-D

    Quake II RTX

This is how far back you have to go to get playable framerates with RTX on? Probably still uses DLSS.

    Outer Wilds, No Man's Majora?

Same, I've still only seen the Sun go Supernova twice in as many days due to me dying in countless different ways in under 22minutes :D

    Outer Wilds, No Man's Majora?

It's an odd one performance wise, I'm getting 60fps constant but it does feel very choppy at times. I'm currently forgiving it because it's so original and fun to explore...and bounce off planets by accident!

    Outer Wilds, No Man's Majora?

    Another Intel CPU vulnerability

Nothing noticeable in daily use and I don't fully understand why. Apart from what Rainmaker said...and I don't really understand that but I've lost 3.5% performance somewhere.

    Another Intel CPU vulnerability

As an i7 8700K owner the only place I've seen any performance loss is a 3.5% loss in the CPU-Z benchmark. Annoying but not worth losing sleep over as a home user.

    Outer Wilds, No Man's Majora?

Just seen this today, looks well worth a go, anyone tried it yet? Looks like a space based Majora's mask type thingy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kYtnjmpPg4

What to do about my rubbish 2666Mhz DDR4

Yep :-) I'm also just happy that the upgrade went smoothly. I never expected a huge boost just happier knowing my RAM isn't a "weakest link".
