If the leaves are discoloured it most likely means that they have some kind of deficiency (nitrogen, phosphorus, iron etc) rather than a disease, here's a resource with some examples: https://www.yara.co.uk/crop-nutrition/sweet-pepper/nutrient-deficiencies-pepper/ If the fruit look and feel ok...

Yes, almost all of my seeds are either vertiloom or fataliiseeds :D Nice looking tomato haul, glad to see what looks like some paste varieties going into the ferment. Sounds like a banging ketchup in the works

Bet they don't have to deal with fungus gnats. Edit since I remembered I have some space pepper seeds (not from ISS / NASA) "1987, scientist Jiang Xingcun discovers that when seeds are sent to satellites into space orbit for a while, there is a much greater chance of mutations, mainly in terms...

A whole one? I'm really pleased with the flavour :) However, I've not summoned the desire/bravery to chow down on a whole pod yet  Hope you remain unscathed tomorrow :D

There is a genetic component to plant yield but it's only a part of a larger picture. I'd say you'd be good to plant the seeds from that pod and give it another try.

@Rathian Caribbean Mango sauce sounds awesome - can you share the recipe? Glad you're liking the crosses, if you want to grow some of the resulting seeds and throw the F2 dice that would be awesome if you've got the space/time/will :D I'm pretty limited in F2 numbers, mostly because I keep...

Not really been checking my outdoor plants very thoroughly but just seen 2 SRPS pods that have been nibbled by something! Looks like a while ago too! Anyone got any ideas what the culprit might be?

Speaking of which here's some highlights from today: Starting off with this strange growth on an F2 [Costa Rican Orange x SRPS], the other 4 plants from the same parent are all looking far more normal. Here's a cross I'm pretty excited about. It's Cheiro Roxa x KSLSB, an F1. My goal for the...

@Cadder - Awesome looking pods man! That mushroom bonnet looks amazing especially! Can't remember why I doubted your Naga previously... Annuum looking foliage maybe? Pods look like they could be Nagas so I'd ignore my previous doubts for now :D I rescind my previous position!

@Rathian - Yea the BMC is around 700k SHU so plenty of scope for heat in the cross :D My outdoor plants are doing OK, had a fair few off the lemon drop and skunk chocolate, really hoping there's time for more ripe SRPS pods so I have some decent stock of those seeds. Indoor update soon:)

@{SAS}TB - Jam looks great! and I appreciate the documenting of the process :D @Cadder - Skunk Chocolate is a decent variety, the pods look cool, the plant yields fairly well and it is indeed a superhot. However, I'm not in a hurry to grow it again but that's simply because there are so many...

So I always have to have a taste of every pepper variety I grow. Some I treat with more caution than others. This Skunk chocolate was looking gnarly and you can see just how oily this badboy was: So, hot! Instant searing heat, very sharp, sweating straight away and I could feel the warmth in...

You can typically find pectin on it's own a little easier and use alongside normal sugar. Also, make sure you're doing this in a well ventilated kitchen :D:D
