Try sticking it in an external USB drive case and connect it to another computer. I've used this method to get stuff from a borked drive.

Not sure if this will be any help-EasyBCD I've just used it to remove Vista boot options after a failed repair install. It does give options to add other OS's, but not sure it will do what you want.
