    The RTX 2080 pre-order thread

Read it again, I said there was 60 orders not OCUK received 60 cards. I'm considering cancelling because of the lack of information, other suppliers are providing more information. The only thing OCUK seem to be releasing is information around 1080 TIs. If the delay is going to go into Oct then...

    The RTX 2080 pre-order thread

18?!?? Someone mentioned there was 60 orders for the Windforce (maybe more now?). At that volume it could be a number of deliveries before one is assigned to your order. Getting very close to cancelling. Don’t mind waiting but the lack of any information is annoying.

That’s the gaming version, assuming the Windforce arrived as well?

The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

A competitor got stock of the Winforce today so hopefully OCUK’s pallet of stock isn’t far behind.

    The RTX 2080 pre-order thread

I'm a bit surprised OCUK haven't been more vocal on what is coming in, others are showing ETAs and customers are being given where they are in the queue as well. I wouldn't be surprised if some have cancelled orders and gone to a competitor because they don't know if OCUK are getting stock and...

    RAF Northolt Night Shoot

Thanks Johnny, the lighting and the contrast between the helicopters and the backdrop make for a great composition. It's a ticket event (minimum donation) and you need to provide your details in advance for security checks but you don't need a pass if any type.

    RAF Northolt Night Shoot

Yup, airborne radar. They've operated from Northolt earlier this year as part of the air security plan for the Olympics.

    RAF Northolt Night Shoot

The Northolt Nightshoot offers a great opportunity to shoot modern military aircraft. Here's my take........ 1. Royal Navy Sea King ASaC7 2. Royal Navy Sea King ASaC7 3. Royal Navy Sea King ASaC7 4. RAF 7 Sqn Chinook HC2 5. AAC Lynx AH7 6. RAF 32 Sqn A-109E...

RAF Tornado GR4 - Mission markings from Libya

Sadly nose art is pretty much a thing of the past for the RAF these days but mission marks are still applied for some conflicts. Mission marks record the weapons the particular airframe has dropped or fired (the days of air to air kills is pretty much behind us as well). I've been after a...

    RAF Mildenhall - July

Looking to buy Canon 17-55 2.8 IS + Which UV Filter?

Can't say I've found cleaning any of my lenses front element hard or stressfull regardless of cost. Nor have I had any damage to the glass (the front element of most lenses are much tougher than you would think, I've seen an ice hockey puck bounce off a Canon 300 f/2.8 L IS). I don't see the...

    Duxford Jubilee Air Show

Nikon D300, 300 f/2.8 VR and 1.4x TC. Think I removed the TC for the Lancaster. I had no problem with shade! :D Only got a couple decent Typhoon shots myself, too early in the display program. No fancy processing, a lot of changing of exposure compensation and only shooting when they...
