You can fill the monitor but if your device output resolution is different from what the monitor can support on a per pixel basis it will either be squished, bits chopped off or re-scaled to fit in some way (maybe black bars at each end depending on the resolution used). Unless your device...

Worth noting that my work laptop does not list 5120x1440 as a supported resulution but it does drive the monitor at that resolution. Just at 30hz which for me works fine (I dont see any discernable flicker). The additonal desktop space is fantastic at 5120 :-)

You are probably right, it is just that the Supply Chain seems to be able to stand the accesories being brought forward so I wondered if other news was coming. it may be that the earlier date was always planned but they were cautious so gave 19th. Who knows but its fun to wonder :-)

Thats odd, a quick google on "which is easier to develop for ps5 or xbox series x" doesn't support that statement. XBox seems to be better suited to cross platorm games but pure SDK my admittedly light googling leans towards the PS5.

I refuse to not be excited. 1. It's a cool new toy. 2. Its MUCH better than my Ps4 and i like that as it is 3. It's a cool new toy! (And he who dies with the most toys wins!)
