"Within its range, G-SYNC is the only syncing method active, no matter the V-SYNC “On” or “Off” setting."
Sounds like V-Sync only needs to be enabled for when the frame rate gets too high or too low which is why it's best to...
If your display's compatible you'll see "Set up G-SYNC" in the list to the left under display, if you don't have any compatible displays then the option won't be there.
The compatible display will have a Nvidia logo on the screen.
Oh, have to turn V-Sync fast on in control panel and set a...
Thanks for the reply
If i go through the AVR to the TV i would lose G-Sync, to keep G-Sync i have to connect direct to the TV.
Windows outputs in PCM so i can only get stereo over ARC, the work around would be to have separate cables for each, a pain but it'll do until better AVRs become available.
Thanks for everyone who suggested this work around to use two cables (one for video, one for sound) but i've noticed a difference in sound quality and volume between ARC to AVR and direct to AVR.
ARC sounds a bit better and louder compared to the second screen which goes direct to the AVR...
Nice, glad you found what you were after :) and nope, no heat spreader/ sink on the M.2 unfortunately, i think they're only really needed for PCIe 4 boards though so nothing to worry about.
I'm seriously considering buying a new case, i just had temps over 80 again, weather is hot but shouldn't...
i sent you a link to this but then edited it out because after watching parts of this video i was put off because of the temps but watching more of it maybe i was wrong:
nice looking case
it only went that high because i took out the angled 120mm, if you take out the 120mm you're supposed to replace it with two 80mm fans, it's fine now
A AIO for the CPU should bring the temperature down quiet a bit in any case
Lian-li make some good cases
No problem, i have a Silverstone Fortress FT03 and yeah working well :)
It's a nice case, hard to find now though because i bought it years ago
When the weather was hot the GPU had temps of 80  which was a bit worrying but that was because i had to take out the 120mm intake fan to fit the...
Hi thanks for the reply
I narrowed it down to two boards in the end, one for each chipset:
MSI B450M mortar max
and
ASRock X570M pro4
There was only one mATX X570m motherboard available at the time so that was my only choice, it had mixed reviews and was twice the price of the B450M which had...
Hi, i'm in the process of getting parts together for a gaming pc build and was wondering what AMD motherboard would go best with a Ryzen 7 3700x or a Ryzen 3800x
Could i please have some recommendations for a micro ATX motherboard, also 16 GB of RAM :)
I'll either be buying a RTX 2080 super or...
