These two top of my list, ATM... LG 38GL950G LG 34GK950F Samsung G7 sounds interesting, but only 32".... 34"/35" better for me. The G9, forget it, 49"...don't have the real estate for that. Waiting for TFT full review of these Samsungs...

Guesswork, but I'm thinking 2nd/3rd quarter 2021...and that might be optimistic. At my computer desk right now, about two feet away from my 27" Acer XB271HU. It's been awesome for almost 3 1/2 yrs now. I think I can hold off a bit.

I'm considering the Alienware AW3420DW and the new, just out LG 34GN850B. (which is the successor to the LG 34GK950F) The 850 LG does 144hz+160hz OC'd, G-Sync, IPS, (3440x1440), Brightness 400, 98% of DCI-P3 color, DP1.4, HDR10, etc. Listed at TFTCentral...
