I had an old IDE drive that I just used for storage and a Samsung SATA one with Windows etc installed. With the IDE drive connected I get a disk read error on boot and get told to ctrl+alt+del. If I disconnect my IDE drive and leave the SATA one in, the computer just loads as if no hard drive is...

I wouldn't think it was graphics card related, as I recently replaced it so it's fairly new, but I'll try an old PCI one I have lying around and see if it makes any difference, thanks. Bumping for more suggestions, can anyone think of anything else it might be? :)

I think you could do it with a TV capture card of some kind, but I don't know what you'd specifically need to connect a VCR to it.

I tried a different harddrive cable. No luck. Anyone got any ideas?

I have 1 gig of ram in total, two sticks of 256 and one 512. I tried taking two of them out at a time, and trying the remaining stick in different slots. It's an AMD 2500+, 1 gig of ram, 160 gig Samsung SATA hard drive and GeForce 6800. I'll try a different cable and running memtest soon though...

I'm expecting to have to return a PSU to Antec soon, so if I do I'll post in here about how it goes. I hope they'll let me use the wire cutting photo method, as some people have been able to and others haven't.

I one drive in an old PC with Windows 98 on it, and one with just data on it. It hasn't really been ticking, but it's been making a lot more noise than normal, especially when booting. It's been running fairly well since I posted this thread oddly enough, but next time it won't load I'll grab...

Which bit of the game is that, did you finish it on the Dark Side or something like that? Because I'm pretty sure I never saw that.

If the battery is alright, which I presume it will be, I mean, come on, like they'd make it really short anyway, I think I might get one. I'll have to wait and see how the games on this and the Nintendo DS compare though.
