I play VR and flat, about equally.
For context, I don't enjoy FPS or story games on any platform. Including Alyx.
But you can't beat VR for flight sims, puzzle games, painting, flight sims.
Movies are also great even just on the quest 2. I almost prefer it to a dark room oled.
Maybe it's a bit like film. The big AAA stuff is really aimed at kids. There are enough jokes etc in marvel to keep the parents happy, but really these films are never going to satisfy in the same way.
Nostalgia is a real thing. But there are other kinds of games
I think if you are bored of a genre, no point hammering at it. I just accepted FPS story games are not an option and don't even try them anymore. Despite it being my favourite game type as a kid. However, there are definitely some genres of game that hold my interest.
As mentioned, it helps to have small responsibilities to avoid.
Also, follow your interests. I've started getting into games that require use of a spreadsheet and programming skills, plus sims requiring looking things up in a manual.
VR is also a fresh start, expectially for sims.
Question for anyone who got the free winter flap kit in the post.... (i've lost all the packaging)
Both parts stick together and go on the back wheel?
Were there any bolts in the package or do you remove the ones already on the car?
