Sony Vaio PCG-K215M - I need to bend the screen!

Hey guys, First a bit of back story, then a bit of recent stuff then I figure a meal and then a couple of dates and we'll see where things go. So. Basically this all started a couple of years ago, I was walking around the house to my bedroom whilst using the laptop and, distracted, I...

    Pathetic work situation

I've personally always found a dress down day to boost morale within the team. A lot of people generally feel more comfortable, happier and therefore it brings a nice fresh boost of motiviation, especially considering it's the end of the week. But this is just my opinion and feelings, just as...

    How fat are you fatty?

6'6, 44". Was 42", been 42" for ages. Not "that" big on me because of my height but big enough. Downside is the moobs, the flabby chest. Upside is the epic, epic gas I can create. Alas I've just hit 44" recently and it's a slap to the face. Gave myself two weeks to start the gym, that...

    People at work you hate!

I'm currently in a temp job. Everything started fine but my sense of humour didn't get on with two of them. Incidently they'd been in the department the longest and as such generally have influence. Not a big deal, it's a techie / net type of humour which worked great with the 20-30 people I...

    Linux+

Bureaucratic imbeciles. The staff are generally wonderful, the custodians are normally nice but there's a few who are so far up their own backside full of their own deluded self-importance.

    Linux+

Not the environment agency by any chance? Utter joke of a company. I would prefer to do Linux+ as a cheap starter examination for Linux then move on and do the RHCE, using what I've learnt from the Linux+ to help me.

    Linux+

Hi guys, I've noticed that CompTIA are changing the Linux+ so that it needs to be renewed every three years. However, if you pass it and receive certification this year then you only have to pass it once. My question is, to anyone who might know, what exam do I study for? The CompTIA...

BBC article (Sale of Goods Act)

Wouldn't know, never had the need to use them. All I know is that I get customers who have "claimed" to speak to Consumer Direct and that they've been told we're incorrectly informing them it's the reseller. I wouldn't put it past the customer to lie.

BBC article (Sale of Goods Act)

Working for a large manufactuer of notebooks I'm glad they've included this line. Can't count the amount of times I've had to correct/argue with customers with their little notepad of consumerdirect advice...

    Have you ever been banned?

Yeah I've been suspended for sticking up for a guy when he was getting bashed by a few people, one of the them was the guy who suspended me. Guess I came over too hostile and can't quite remember but I think it was about the guy being gay or something.
