After 3hrs and a lot of swearing i fitted the H50 into the case and i am very impressed, back to the near silent running and that fan is just awesome.
Full load Prime95 for over 8hrs and it never went above 55c and i cant really hear it!
I am happy :)

I tried it first with WinXP Home and didnt have a lot of luck, the time i got it to work was using WinXP Pro.
So i messed something up the first time!
Scott
I tried this again and i dont know what i did wrong the first time but it worked perfectly this time using that guide!
Currently installing Windows XP (Slipstreamed SP3 while i was at is as well, lol) :)
Thanks!

Hi
Thanks for all the advice, i tried nLite (first port of call) but was unsuccesful :( The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R v1.0
I'm using a WinXP Home disk sadly, will that make a difference?

Hi All
I wonder if anyone would be able to help, i am trying to install Windows XP onto a machine with a Sata Drive and no floppy drive. Of course it cant find the hard drive when installing so i cant continue.
I dont have a spare floppy and could do with getting it installed tonight...
Well, very interesting indeed!
I thought it will never fit between the HDD cages and Front panel never even though about top mounting it.
Ingenius, thank you i shall be able to use this H50 now (as long as the Slip Stream isnt too loud) :)
Scott
It's not a Quantum system, it is one i built myself.
Thanks for the link on the Scythe, never thought about those. However i am more than interested in you saying the H50 will fit? I have one here sat doing nothing but i never tried it due to reading a few reviews saying it wont fit!
Any...
Hi All
I've had this case and mobo for a month now and have to say its been perfect, all apart from the stupid stock cooler im using on an i5.
Does anyone know or have experience with a decent cooler that will work with this? I still have a good inch of space over the Stock for space but...
I've installed it already, currently just running with the SSD and no other Hard Drives. All Devices are installed and ive none that are showing not installed.
Will take a peek at ur thread and see if i can offer anything!
I bough the Sapphire PSU, it's just 1cm smaller which gives me more...
Im using the same motherboard as you, however it does have a DVDRW in there and i dont want to change that. There does seem loads of space to get some routing sorted but the problem i have until i get a new PSU is that it just doesnt physically fit!
The Sapphire i wil order later is a good...
Hi
I thought that too so i went to the Manufacturers site, and this is the 625w one:
http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?leg=&psn=000103&pid=283
Shows dimensions as 150 (w) x 86 (h) x 140 (d) mm
If you then look at the obviously larger 1250w model here...
Hi
Actually looking at this one, seems to be OK and the dimensions are fine. Although i do wish they would measure them all the same, some W/D dimensions are typed differently! I guess they are ATX standard so will fit :)
This one is 140mm deep which gives me loads of room and should mean...
I didnt have it set at anything other than that the Motherboard did itself which was 1.5v. That was default so as you say it wasnt surprising it fell over :)
Hi All
Currently trying to fit a Tagan 530w Modular into the Lian Li Q08 case, and if i want to fit the HDD cage im not having much luck.
Measured it up and i figure i need a PSU that is less than 15cm deep to give me enough room for the cables and the HDD Cage.
Would anyone be able to...
Hi
Well, 9-9-9-20 @ 1.64v it is running Prime at currently an hour, hopefully this means it should be stable for a while longer. Going to let it run for another hour and if it runs fine call it fixed!
Thanks for the help.
Well, it's now on 7-7-7-20 and i ran Prime and it failed within seconds again. So i tried bumping up the Voltage and it is currently running Prime and has got to the fouth test with the voltage at 1.64
Is this safe or am i going to melt my RAM? Ive never dabbled with RAM voltage ever :(
Thanks for the Info. I just plugged in the RAM and left the Mobo to do the work. I will poke around in the BIOS and see where i can change that.
Will see how that works and then try the memtest you mention :)
